Keer has been in the logistics since 1985 (for more than 35 years) and it was founded by Mr. Mohamed Ali Keer.
The logistics services that Keer provides include but not limited to inland transportation, handling, transportation of heavy lift cargoes, warehousing, freight forwarding, customs brokerage, river transportation, swamp barge operations, container yard management, dry docking and repairs to barges and pushers. Our main area of specialization over the years has been in the Oil & Gas industry.
It began with the provision of logistics services to The Oil & Gas drilling contractors who were active in Sudan during the early days. One such successful operations was to transport Parker Drilling rig from Sudan across Darfur into Central Africa Republic in 1989. The resumption of the Oil & Gas industry in 1999 has given Keer an opportunity to participate in the development of Sudan’s oil fields; working closely with the main EPCC contractors and the sub-contractors.
The logistics services provided by Keer include transportation of materials of all sizes which include over-sized and over-dimension cargoes using trucks and barges. On some occasions, the cargoes are temporarily stored at our transit yards or supply bases. One of our major strengths over the years is that, we have been able to deliver cargoes under difficult conditions safely,
on-time, and in accordance with QHSE policy in meeting our customers exacting demands.
